Purple - The Dragon, the serpent, or any part of him, is Satan Now a new beast enters the picture. This second beast of Revelation has horns like a lamb. So it seems to be peaceful power that will help to solve the problems of the world. However, it seems that things will turn ugly when it starts speaking as a dragon. In reality, it starts showing its true colors. Its purpose is to make all worship the beast. It will literally cause the whole world to worship the first beast with the mouth. It has been given all sorts of powers which will amaze the whole world. It will cause fire to come down from heaven on the earth in the sight of men, and it will do this in the sight of the beast with the mouth (little horn). It will tell them to make an image, a statue of the beast. and when they make this image, this second beast will magically cause this image to speak in the sight of men. |
Because of these miracles which he has power to do in the sight of the beast, he enforces the idea that all who do not worship the image, that they will be killed, and he will cause all people, whether they are rich or poor, small or great, free or a servent, to receive a mark in their right hand, or in their forehead. Anyone who does not have this mark will not be allowed to buy or sell. In section 3.9 there is a clue that identifys the false prophet as being the second beast of Revelation 13. You will find this clue in Revelation 19:20. It reads: 20 And the beast was taken, and with him the false prophet that wrought miracles before him, with which he deceived them that had received the mark of the beast, and them that worshipped his image. These both were cast alive into a lake of fire burning with brimstone. Revelation 19:20. So it is the false prophet that does these miracles before the beast! In Revelation 20, the false prophet along with the devil and the beast all have spirits of devils that work miracles come out of their mouths. These evil spirits go to the kings of the earth and also to all the populous of the world to get them organized as a fighting unit so that when the time comes to battle God Almighty, they will be ready. This is of course the battle of Armageddon that they are preparing for. |

Point 1The second power gives power to the first beast. We use to apply this power to the United States. However if the first beast is really the New World Order than the second beast may not be visible yet. It may be some power that is able to act as a police for the New World Order. On the other hand, we may yet find that the US will be this power. We will have to wait and see. Point 2It should be easy to see in the description of the second beast that it actually forces all to worship the first beast. The first beast must not have the physical armaments to threaten directly but apparently it does have political clout and it is able to use the second beast as its big stick. |
