In Section 2.2 we see that it is extremely important to be ready when Jesus comes, to be accounted worthy to escape the bad things described as happening to the wicked at the end of time. Rather we want Jesus to remember us when He comes!

In Section 2.3 we see how we can get ready so that Jesus will know us and that we will also have the oil that is needed to follow God.

In this section, we will see some of the attributes that God's people have. Look at the Bible texts to see what God's people are like.

When Jesus was on our world the first time, He had to educated what the 10 commandments were all about. The first four commandments speak of our Love for God, and the remaining 6 commandments spell out our love for man.

John connects loving God with keeping God's commandments. Loving God means to do what He says.

David wrote in the 103rd Psalm that it is those who fear God who will be blessed of God. We must note that the word "fear" really means to respect and honor. So it is those who respect and honor God who will have his transgressions removed. The mercy of God is on those who respect and honor God so much that they keep His covenant and remember and keep His commandments.

In Revelation 12, 14, and 22, we see that the remnant, God's People, are those who keep the commandments of God and have the testimony of Jesus Christ.

This agrees with everything we have seen in the other parts of the Bible. When Satan go on the rampage, he especially attacks God's people who have the faith of Jesus and keep God's Commandments.

There is a very real reason why Satan is furious with those who honor God by obeying all that God commands. To understand why obedience based on faith is so important, click on this link.

17 And the dragon was wroth with the woman, and went to make war with the remnant of her seed, which keep the commandments of God, and have the testimony of Jesus Christ. Revelation 12:17.

In Revelation 14, we see that the wicked are those who worship the beast and his image, and receive his mark. Obviously they are not those who are keeping the commandments of God because they say to worship God only. Only those who keep the commandments of God and have the faith of Jesus will be saved.

12 Here is the patience of the saints: here are they that keep the commandments of God, and the faith of Jesus. Revelation 14:12.

Lastly, in Revelation 22, only those who do his commandments will have the right to the tree of life.

14 Blessed are they that do his commandments, that they may have right to the tree of life, and may enter in through the gates into the city. Revelation 22:14
